I actually think that the Vols have 35 scholly's to give with 2 more 5 stars waiting to decide one being a long shot.As of now the vols have the 2nd ranked class in the nation.
Vols got commitments today from teammates Lennon Creer and Darnius Moore. Creer is a top 50 player and rated 4 stars by both Rivals and Scout. Moore is a 3 star by Rivals and a 4 star by Scout. That puts them around 30 commitments. I wonder if the Vol staff wishes they hadn't taken so many commitments from 2 and 3 star local players early on with several big names still out there and some expressing interest in the Vols. There probably isn't any room left. Regardless, still looks like a great class for the Vols.

I know the scholarships are not the problem, but isn't 25 the max that can be given out in any year regardless of scholarships available? I'm not a recruiting expert - perhaps someone could enlighten me.
25 is the max but they can backcount about 5 of those to last year that have already enrolled in school last month. A couple of the 30-32 they sign will greyshirt also. One commit they have Gerald Williams won't count, because he's going to prep school. There are a couple of others that may, Melancon, Rogan. There's nothing wrong with any of the early commits they took either. None of them are 2*'s. They're all solid. They may lose Vereen the rb out of NC since they got Creer.

It was a good day....Now there are reports that Kenny O'Neal the five star juco commit is thinking about visiting Minnessota. There are about three or four they may lose to other schools. Who knows, recruiting is out of control.
They won't lose O'Neal.
